WTC Free Zone Punta del Este has been developed with a structure for very sustainable use and will be LEED Certified with optimal use of natural resources.

With regard to water, sustainable rainwater management and consumption will be carried out: using efficient taps and collected rainwater for toilets and irrigation. To minimize the city’s heat island effect, it will have covered parking plus paving and roof finishes with a high Solar Reflectance Index.

As for energy, it will promote regeneration strategies producing energy savings of 12% compared to other standard buildings. This is due to the high-performance façade system, plus a high-efficiency thermal conditioning and lighting system.

Most of the occupied area will have natural lighting and outside views.

It will have an outdoor area of 650 m2, 140 m2 of which will be covered with vegetation. There will be a rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the entire harbor and the city. Occupants will be able to go to work by bicycle, as the building will have bike racks with 48 spaces and a structure for vehicle loading in the garages.
